Flow AI <> Chakra: Leveraging Open Data in the AI Agent Marketplace

Demo
A short demo from Fed, founder of Flow AI.
Intro
Models are only as good as the context provided to them.
It’s a simple statement, but motivates much of the research and engineering over the last 12-18 months in agent building. When we say context, what we’re specifically referring to is data: rich corpuses that the models can rely on for real-time inference.
Today, we’re excited to announce a strategic partnership between Flow and Chakra to leverage Chakra’s open data standard with Flow’s AI agent marketplace. This partnership enables builders to seamlessly develop, deploy, and interact with AI agents on Flow that utilize real-time, mission critical datasets hosted on Chakra.
Flow AI
Flow AI is a platform designed to simplify the creation and deployment of AI agents tailored for the Web3 ecosystem. It offers an AI Agents Marketplace where users can build teams of AI agents to gather insights, share information with the community, and automate complex tasks such as cross-chain DeFi trading.
Flow AI is focused on increasing user engagement and ecosystem growth by providing AI tools engineered for Web3, aiming to make crypto more accessible and understandable to the masses.
Key Use Cases: DeFi Agent
At its core, this collaboration enables Flow AI to warehouse its own data and access key datasets related to vertical agent use cases.

For example, consider a simple DeFi agent that allows users to query top assets and trade them. When responding to a user query such as “Give me the price of Bitcoin last week”, this agent performs the following actions.
- Analyzes tools available.
- Selects the Chakra tool and establishes a connection with the warehouse.
- Queries the open data marketplace for the latest pricing on the relevant token.
- Incorporates this into the user context.
- Relays this data back to the user in a markdown, readable format.
This simple flow allows an agent that previously had no context on real-world asset prices with the relevant data it needs to service the user’s needs.
What’s Next: Scaling Agents with Open Data
With Chakra’s open data marketplace, Flow gains a powerful foundation for scaling agents to new modalities. This integration strengthens Flow’s existing agent landscape, but paves the way for new user-owned agents built on community datasets like Twitter and LinkedIn.
Flow’s first agent goes lives next week and you can follow them on their X and website.
