Solana Radar Hackathon Winners

Chakra Drive Takes Third Place in Solana Radar Hackathon!

We're thrilled to announce that Chakra Drive, our free-to-use encrypted file storage solution on Solana, has secured third place in the Solana Radar Hackathon on the infrastructure track, earning a $15,000 prize!

What is Chakra Drive?

Chakra Drive represents our first step toward building a community-owned data economy. As the first free-to-use, end-to-end encrypted file storage solution on Solana, it combines security, accessibility, and user-friendly features that set it apart from traditional storage solutions.

Key Features That Earned Recognition:

  • End-to-End Encryption: Files are encrypted using Lit Protocol to ensure user privacy.
  • Free to Use: Storage is powered by Irys Network and the first 10GBs are 100% free.
  • Gas-Less Experience: Because the first 10GBs are free and users need only sign transactions, this is one of the only experiences on Solana that is truly gas-less. No gas top up necessary.
  • Easy Sharing: Files can be publicly shared in one click and seamlessly on X using our native Blinks integration.

Why This Matters

Our success in the Solana Radar Hackathon reinforces our core beliefs:

  1. Decentralized technology can create superior alternatives to centralized solutions
  2. Building and shipping real products is the best way to develop company culture and direction
  3. Open-source development and building in public are crucial for long-term success in the data economy

Looking Ahead

This recognition from the Solana Radar Hackathon is just the beginning.

Over the next three months, we'll be unveiling more products that aim to fundamentally transform how enterprises and consumers interact with data. Our vision of a community-owned data economy is taking shape, and we're excited to have you along for the ride.
